The Family Housing Operations Coordinator shall be responsible for:
- Monitoring the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- In collaboration with engineering, overseeing construction and renovation projects to improve efficiency and to ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards, and comply with government regulations.
- In collaboration with engineering, overseeing the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Directing facility maintenance or repair activities.
- Purchasing materials, equipment, or other resources.
- Planning, directing, or coordinating operations and functionalities of facilities and buildings. May include surrounding grounds or multiple facilities of an organization's campus.
- Ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the house operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Must be available as a community and hospital resource for families regarding accommodation and other non-clinical related needs
- Overseeing and supervising the housekeeping staff in the Family Houses in conjunction with the Hospital team and external contractors.
- In collaboration with Family Services Director, managing the housing budget, billing processes, and ongoing maintenance and replacement of furniture and equipment inventory
- Maintaining informational databases, written operational policies and procedures, and creating reports and analyses of program utilization.
- Managing large-scale data management/systems projects.
To qualify, you must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Property/Hotel Management, Hotel Administration or related field
- 3 years of work related experience
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, systems, and written communications skills.
- Comfort level working with families experiencing emotional and financial stress.
- Work requires strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with Property Management Software.
- A strong focus on customer service. Attention to detail.
- Fluency in Spanish (oral and written) strongly preferred.
