Career Center

The Photonics Center is a University-wide research center reporting to the VP for Research, which serves as an interdisciplinary hub for education, research, scholarship, innovation, and technology development associated with practical uses of light. The nine-story building houses world-class research facilities including 28+ faculty labs, 4 shared laboratories (core facilities) dedicated to photonics research, and sustains the work of 53 active faculty members, 15 staff members, and more than 100 graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. The Center also runs a Business Innovation Center, and administers a portfolio of grant funded projects. The Center has 3 Laboratory Managers to run the core facilities, which require technical and operational management and oversight
