FEDERAL COMPLIANCE ASSISTANT , Office of Strategic Alliances and Technology Transfer (OSATT)-Technology Licensing Office (TLO) , to support the compliance team of the TLO in maintaining its sponsor commitments to the federal government. Will manage the reporting requirements to the U.S. federal government's database system, currently iEdison; manage the background intellectual property review process for industrial sponsored research agreements, working with TLO staff to designate background intellectual property in its in-house database; and support industrial compliance through special projects on an as-needed basis.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : a high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years' administrative, office, or related experience; excellent organizational skills; meticulous attention to detail; accuracy with data entry; demonstrated analytical skills; strong customer service and oral and written communication skills; ability to set priorities, establish and meet deadlines, and handle diverse tasks concurrently; database experience; and discretion and good judgment with confidential information. PREFERRED : technology transfer and/or compliance experience, knowledge of federal rules and regulations as outlined in the Bayh-Dole Act, experience understanding federal sponsor compliance terms in sponsored research contracts, patent knowledge, and a bachelor's degree.
