Location: Boston Main Campus Division/College: Student Affairs FT/PT: Full Time Position Summary: The Assistant Director of Student Outreach, Programs and Services will work to provide support and services to Northeastern students participating in academic experiences out of region including cooperative education and other educational programs both in Boston and out of region. They will serve as an integral part of the Co-op Connections team in supporting the initiatives related to experiential and academic learning initiatives. The Beyond Boston initiatives support students who are participating in programs outside of the Boston area. The Assistant Director will provide active support to the Associate Director regarding all aspects of the student volunteer programs, Boston-based and Beyond Boston events, and social media accounts. This will include recruiting students for the Co-op Connector Program (student event planners), Beyond Boston Blogger, and Instagrammer programs. This person will be responsible for training the student volunteers located in their region(s), as well as managing all aspects of these programs respectively. The Assistant Director will also provide a wide range of support during the planning and execution of all Boston area Signature Events including the Beyond Boston Bon Voyage, and the Co-op Spring Break Series. In this capacity they will assist with all event logistics (i.e. hiring internal and external vendors, booking space, coordinating entertainment, arranging caterers, and handling audiovisual requirements). The Assistant Director will be responsible for developing assorted marketing and promotional materials for various programs and events, maintaining the social media accounts for the office such as Facebook and Instagram, and maintaining various components of the website. The Assistant Director may also be asked to give general informational presentations to co-op classes, attend various university functions and meetings as a representative, or attend an event/tabling/program on behalf of the office. The Assistant Director will collaborate with the Associate Director and Director to implement meaningful programs Beyond Boston, which meet the needs of the learner and align with their current and future pathways. The Assistant Director will also have a working relationship with Off Campus Student Services and support services and programs that speak to the goals of Northeastern 2025. The Assistant Director will support the office with administrative tasks and projects, including running reports and analyzing data as needed, data entry, record keeping and organizational tasks. Some evening and weekend hours required. Frequent travel is required. Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Student Personnel or related field, Masters preferred Requisition Number: STFR005245
